Alpha lube

Anyone use this before and what do you think? Supposedly water soluble and slicker that hell. Maybe it lubes like lanolin but comes off like one shot??

Having been challenged by a too-tight sizing die recently, of all the lubes I have on-hand including Hornady Unique, Alpha, Imperial wax, One-Shot and probably a couple I can't recall right now, the Alpha lube offered the least amount of resistance. I find it easy to cleanup with a rag and warm water. Having said that, if I don't have a die fight on my hands, One-Shot is hard to beat for convenience.

And it doesn’t collect in the case rim and then media sticks to it like lanolin? With that alpha will a little alcohol or brake cleaner on rag will easily do the trick?

I use one shot for sizing just because it's easier to apply to 50 or more cases in bulk BUT i recently tried alpha during neck turning and it worked very well with a lot less mess.

It seems to dry so I don't think you'll have any issues with media sticking in the case rim unless your using way too much and not giving them a chance to dry.

“Alpha Case Lube is our proprietary formulation, and the exact product used in our manufacturing process. This lube is specifically designed for forming brass making it ideal for home reloading.
-Use sparingly by applying a light film to brass cases prior to resizing
-Can be applied by hand or using a lube pad
-Water soluble. Wipes away easily without using solvent.”

I've been using Alpha lube for about 8 months now. I love it. I use a swab to get some inside the case neck, and then put 50 cases or more in a ziplock and hit them with 1 squirt from the bottle and shake them for a minute. It rinses off easily with warm water and doesn't leave a residue.

So you need warm water to clean the cases up? How about rubbing alcohol?
I would think that would work as it is chemically bi-polar and will bound with both water or oils…
A long time ago in days before OSHA, a lab trick when washing test tubes was hot soapy water, hot rinse than a small amount of ether or acetone or even toluene and those solvents bonded with the water and then quickly evaporated leaving a clean, dry test tube ready to use.
