Are you talking about "cannon plug pliers"? These are used in the aviation world.

Update. Harbor Freight has a soft jawed plier that sell for $25.99 last fall anyway. the jaws are replaceable and are made of steel and has a great adjustment for the jaws. I don't have a picture, but I use them to insert dies into my press. and all kinds of things......

A while back I picked up a Lee trimmer that I can put in my drill. Cartridge dies in the press now hold the cases. No more hand trimming for me.

I’d recommend the cannon plug pliers, or spark plug wire pliers. Get the ones with replaceable pads though.
