Looks like the 25 Creedmoor has "officially" arrived

"The 25 Creedmoor (25 CM) was introduced by Hornady Manufacturing Company with a 134-grain bullet traveling at a velocity of 2,810 fps and a Maximum Average Pressure of 62,000 psi."

I guess it's time for me to get started - the king of procrastination has run out of excuses - now if only someone would offer a production rifle in 25 CM. How about it, Legacy Arms - a lightweight long range hunter in 25 Creedmoor?

A short while ago when stuff was really hard to find I put together a 25 creed
because no one was shooting 25 cal and bullets were everywhere for cheap.

Now Hornady done screwed it up.

Thank goodness!! Now there will be a '25' available that will shoot rings around the old antiquated 25-06, with half the powder, easy sub-MOA accuracy at 1000 yds, almost no recoil, incredible barrel life, and the "Creedmoor" cool factor. jd

I think this could be a very good do it all cartridge for the casual user. Naturally specialized cartridges will do some things better, but if you just want to shoot a bit this could be a really good option.

Seems to be in a nice spot for bullet weight, BC and velocity. Decent sectional density too, based on the 135gr.

I think so. Austin Orgain? only from what I have read on line. CRB barrels.

I am shooting a 9 twist. Regret not going with a 10 as I can’t get 75 V Max to shoot. Shooting 85 Noslers, 90 Blitzking, and 115 Berger VLD.

I’m not familiar enough about reading those.

If I'm looking at it right I'd say the FB length is 165 thou but l could be looking at it wrong so I'll defer to others that know for certain.
