7prcw reamer

G'day guys. I'm going to build a 7prcw, I want to use lapua 6.5 prc brass necked up to 7mm. I see there are a few reamers out there. I don't really want to turn necks if I can get away with it. Does anyone know what reamer would be best to go for.

Cheers.

Alex Wheeler developed the cartridge so I went with his 7PRCW design. It is important to note his design is best when shooting 180 Berger Hybrids and he says it may not do as well with other bullets. JGS Precision.com has a turn and no turn version.

If you use ADG brass, this is the better reamer IMO:

And honestly I'd get AGD brass.

I have both the ADG and necked up Lapua and not having to neck turn is a bonus…
NOW, if only the ADG brass was available…. No one seems to have stock, not even ADG.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone can answer, what would be the drawback, if any, to use ADG 7-6.5prcw brass in a chamber made with .319 NT JGS reamer. Thanks in advance

I would suggest you give the necks a bit of a skim as ADG tends to run a bit thicker in the neck. I run ADG SAUM brass and have a .321 neck for that and still give it a skim.
