The last primary one in the US closed down over ten years ago. We still have some that salvage lead from batteries, bullets, lead pipe etc. Don't give your old batteries away. I think something like 80% of our lead comes from China. Great!At least we still have lead smelters, we can always shoot cast bullets![]()

Pure lead sheets can be found in supply houses. Formed lead in window sash weights can be found still.
