6 arc and 75gr vmax or 70gr noslers

In a Saami 6 arc wondering if the 75vmax or the 70 Nosler ballistic tips will reach the lands and still have an adequate amount of bullet in the neck ? Might try it in a bolt gun or ar still u decided. If you have any pictures please post. Thanks men

I ran the the 70gr Sierra at .025" from touch in a Howa Mini with no issues. That was actually the best shooting bullet out of that rifle.

I wish I could find some more Sierra 70 Gr Blitzkings. I'm out and can't any anywhere. Great bullet for varmints.

Sorry can't help any info on either of those bullets in a 6 ARC but the 75gr Vmax is my go to bullet of choice in my 12tw 6-284 and the 70gr Nos BT is in my 9tw 6 Creedmoor. They both shoot extremely well for me in my rifles.

Not sure if this matters to you but be aware they aren't particularly fur friendly especially the 75 Vmax.

Also, even though most of my stuff is generally seated 10-15 thou. from touching I've never had any issues with jumping Vmax or Nosler Ballistic Tips. Nosler BT's have always been a bullet that was very easy to dial a load in for in any caliber I've ever shot them in.

Don't know about the ARC as I have a 6mm Grendel, but the base of the 75 vmax is down in the shoulder area. My OAL is 2.095" on my loads (3300fps)

Fur doesn’t matter to me. If I can cut them slam in half I’d be the happiest

Checked mine just now, 75 vmax is about perfect in a cmmg barrel. Touches at 2.121”col. 70 NBT touches at 2.214”col and doesn’t leave enough bullet in the neck in my opinion. The nosler is a much sleeker bullet.

How is the accuracy in the X Caliber. I have a 6 ARC and would be interested in the lighter bullets. Following with interest.

I've had 3 or 4 X-Caliber barrels, all have shot fantastic.

This was my 6 Hagar showing the difference in 55 BT, 70 BT, & 70 BK for seating:
