OK..........

If you could build one of these rifles, given the bullet BC. which one would you build?????

6 dasher with 55gr. Nosler ballistic tips with a BC of .276......... or

22 dasher using Hornady 53gr. v-max bullets with a BC of .290

Both of these should reach my 4000 fps velocity requirement.

Based on that criteria I would go with the 22 as there are alot more bullet options in that weight range in the event the bullet I select did not pan out..

Personally the 6mm because it will give better barrel life and if you do a 1 in 12" twist you can shoot up to 80 grain bullets which can shoot better B.C's yet. The 70 grain blitzking has a B.C. of .299 and you can get it around 3600 fps out of that cartridge.

With that weight of a bullet I would shoot the 22 dasher. If you were going to shoot heavier bullets I would go with the 6 dasher. Plus the 22 dasher has a few less case forming steps compared to the 6 dasher.
