Folks always overlook Western powdersNot the way LT30 shoots for me!
Just picked up another 16lbs so I'm set for the 30 for a while.
I'm happy enough with it that I gave my last 8lb jug of H4198 to a buddy
who really wanted it. He makes my 6mm bullets so I try to keep him happy!
YMMV,
G
I’ll buy 3 one pounders thenIt was all #1’s last time on the hard to get stuff.
OUCH on the varget...Everybody take their Nitro tablet before price checking !! I need
maybe H-4895 for a new project, but I do think I'm going to go
with Vhitavouri and call it a day.
The last 8lbs of Varget to my door was $546. That will never happen
again.

, however, wondering if I can afford it given that I paid over $8 for a dozen of eggs this week!
.
Plan A, stop eating eggs.
Plan B, buy a cheaper bourbon.
Plan C, use newspaper for toilet paper. Scrap that, no more print media available.
i didnt say i wont be buying them and anyway you know things can change at anytime-lolI’m glad to hear you and many others will not be buying Hodgdon powders…..leaves more for me lol

Bozo will gladly buy it all at that price- lolH4895 @ $66 per pound works out to about $86 per pound when you add tax, shipping & hazmat. That's a rather large and hefty NOPE. There are always alternatives.
Good for him and anyone else willing to pay that much.Bozo will gladly buy it all at that price- lol
Im afraid Bozo was rite again- it wont be me.Good for him and anyone else willing to pay that much.
i thought that since VV adjusted their pricing. one of these days Hodgdon may be the low price point and VV the high.-who knows— but i think VV is in it for the long hall and they want to treat the commercial market rite.Everyone talking bout and praising Vhit needs to hush now, next thing ya know it's gonna catch up price wise.
PPC & Grendel possibly 6br with lighter bullets from what I've seen, otherwise I couldn't tell ya as I've never used it.What is IMR 8208 used for?
Damn right I will!!…. I don’t drink I don’t smoke and I don’t go out,…. I have two hobbies and there related….. I hunt and I shoot. I have 1000’s upon 1000’s of dollars invested in this hobby/sport. Now I can sell about $250000 worth of guns n stuff and invest it in a stamp collection that I won’t be interested in or…. Or I can buy some expensive powder that I can use in an already invested hobby that I love?… I’ll take option two!.. wait let’s try to put this in a dollar and cents context.Bozo will gladly buy it all at that price- lol
lol-You sound alot like me Wayne. I dont do and do the same things you do.. I am/was an electrician and always suspected you R a great guy. I think you live in a nicer place though (to me) so mabie i should move. Oh i have no GF as ive experienced and heard 1000 horror stories. You must do some Magic to keep her around! Honestly I dont care to much about what these reloading components cost cause like you Im old and its my hobby so i enjoy it while i can. But— if I cant get more of the stuff Ive been using that is what Ps me off and will get me to find something else as i just wasted much time and effort on it and now i have to start over. If i sell off any powder or bullets its for this one reason. If all i can get someday is some powder i wont be able to get more of for two years i probably will do it but ill sure try hard to do something else. When the weather gets nicer Im out at the range usually every day. then of coarse i get to load every day! I am one lucky Guy—- Take Care PardnerDamn right I will!!…. I can take my lady to say a concert,.. tickets would have to be at least $100 and I hate people and don’t like loud music but let’s just say I did. It’s a 100 miles to get to the concert so not counting wear and tear I got $50 in diesel minimum now since we’re in the big city she’s gonna want to go shopping but I won’t count that because who knows what she’s gonna buy with MY money but we both like good food so I drop anothe $150 at the steak house. so let’s see here….. I got $300 bare minimum on a Friday night out…. Full blown road rage from the liberal idiots doing 45 in a 60, a headache from the crappy music a gut ache from the restaurant food but so pissed off I refuse to stop until I get home!.. would have been an additional $200 for motel but I wanted to get home!… or…… I can spend $60 on 1 pound of powder $150 on some primers and bullets and spend all weekend doing what I like to do!…. Geeee not a hard choice for me.
