I agree, I actually stated that in my comment to JackieIMO, its not just the defective pieces, its to let them know they have a problem and they need to fix it, or start including 5 or 10 extra cases in each box of 100.

Please contact us at: Support@capstonepg.com with your PART NUMBER , LOT NUMBER, PICTURES AND NUMBER OF CASES AFFECTED, PHYSICAL MAILING ADDRESS AND CONTACT INFORMATION. Our apologies for this inconvenience.I broke open a new box of Lapua 6BR brass to make up 100 new 30 BR cases, and found these two in the mix. This is a pretty violent dent.

Do not shoot cartridge cases that show this issue.Yessir i did
And I'd still try and shoot that brass to see if it ironed out.
I'm thinking a lil cream of wheat,
with the buckle below neck shoulder junction and blowing shoulders out to an improved cartridge makes a guy wonder what will happen.
We will only replace NEW CARTRIDGE CASES. NOT CASES THAT HAVE BEEN MODIFIED/FORMED TO ANOTHER CARTRIDGE CASE TYPE. So, please New unfired cartridge cases only here! Thank you.I’ve fire formed a lot of BRX and those are the ones that always fail. They will replace them if you call them first but not necessarily from the same lot.
We only ask for samples back if we need to clarify the issue. Sending CLEAR PICTURES can often give us the information we need right off the bat.I wouldn't shoot them! Gas cut your chamber and you'll be sorry you did! Not worth 2 pieces of crap. I gave up sending bad cases back. My time is worth far more than the cost of few cases. By the time you figure packing them, shipping cost, gas to go to post office and your personal time, it's not worth it.

All 3 of those are no go’s. The 2 on the left, the dent would probably iron out but the scratches you see go all the way through. They will rupture every time when forming a Dasher. I think it’s obvious the one on the right isn’t safe. The first two would probably iron out after the first shot, but the third one is a no-go for me.

In my opinion, the last shipment received from Lapua, have the neck thickness reduced by approximately .0005 + or - .0002 from the last few years. I am to assume the shoulders may be thinner as well and when the brass shoulders are formed by folding in, causing the dents which are at a weak spot. There are many that are showing the folding dent. Do not fire them. When I hydro-form them at 50.000 PSI, they always rupture at the folding dent spraying hydraulic fluid every where. Also, check the flash hole for attached debris as well.I broke open a new box of Lapua 6BR brass to make up 100 new 30 BR cases, and found these two in the mix. This is a pretty violent dent.

I know, I call on the virgin brass because it dies every time if you shoot it...We will only replace NEW CARTRIDGE CASES. NOT CASES THAT HAVE BEEN MODIFIED/FORMED TO ANOTHER CARTRIDGE CASE TYPE. So, please New unfired cartridge cases only here! Thank you.
Mine were from the blue plastic box.Is everyone receiving these in the new production cardboard packaging or in the older plastic boxes? I've had some .308 Palma newer production that was very good and just opened a plastic box of 260 Remington and have 101 cases that are all good.
