But you get to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world!Jeez - try living in NZ! Ok - we have Tri-May actions ( Hope to get mine next week), Hardy rifles and barrels , TruFlite Barrels, No local powder or ammo. No NZ primers or match projectiles, The nearest powder manufacturer is in Australia ( and may as well be on the moon, as shipping is just as difficult) and we even buy it back from the US in Hodgdon bottles. We generally pay 20% more for US made projectiles and they are never on "special". Vihtavouri powder is as rare as rocking horse poo and costs the same as moonrocks. Alliant is even dearer. Oddly, I can buy a Kahles scope easier than a Sightron! And we still manage to shoot. Every week.
Beyond my means. However, by the second 3 fingers of Maker's, you won't know the difference!prefer Lagavulin 12 yr. it's smoooooth.

Yeah maybe, but you have to pay 10¢ each for them. If you drop one, everything stops until you find that little jewel.I’ll put a positive spin on this thread. The Primer drought is Over.
Still too high, but they have came down 3 cents or so.Yeah maybe, but you have to pay 10¢ each for them. If you drop one, everything stops until you find that little jewel.
Very true. And as a UK ex-pat, I appreciate the country probably more than the locals. Strange that I still call myself English, despite having now lived here for exactly half of my life. But you get to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
The art of the deal. The sky isn’t falling.
The only time I would have any (Lagavulin) is when my clients would bring it and invited me to have some with them. Other wise, I was a Kilimanjaro drinker.Beyond my means. However, by the second 3 fingers of Maker's, you won't know the difference!![]()

20-35 cents in Nuh Zillind and OZstralia though most of Hodgen’s powder is made by ADI so there is a general supply for the more popular ones… Even seeing AR2206H=4895H in reasonable supply after a 4 year drought…Yeah maybe, but you have to pay 10¢ each for them. If you drop one, everything stops until you find that little jewel.
