222 REM 100 200 YD Benchrest

Hello Fellows. I’m in the process of gathering information for 222 Benchrest seems there are several powders to choose from and trying to narrow it down. Don’t really want to start by buying 10 different powders. Would like to narrow it down to 3 and would like to now what gr bullet would be best and approximate FPS they work best. Thanks Buck

Have you searched this site? Also, there is a forum for 22 centerfire. Lots of 222 info there. Will ditto 4198 (either H or IMR), H322, N133, and add AA2015 to the list.

I’ve shot some 222s.
Here’s a 5 shot group @ 100 yds. 21.0g N133, with a 52g Berger.

First, your question seemed about BR. Sierras are not, BR is about custom bullets.
As to your question, all relates to platform, custom chamber or not, barrel length. As others have stated, lots of info via search.

Waiting on the weather mainly the wind to shoot. So far I’ve loaded up 21g 133 20.5 322 going to load BL C2 thinking 24g. Sierra bullets 52 Bthp. And 53 FB

are you saying H4198 will be back in stock soon. One fellow told me that IMR 4198 and Hodgen will be the same just a different cut because IMR bought Hodgen. Wonder if there’s any truth to that
