25 cal berger 82gr bullet?

I recently picked up 300+ 82 grain .257 bullets that are labeled as bergers. I haven't seen any information regarding these so I have no idea what exactly they are. They are packaged in a berger box with 22cal and 62 gr on one box 65 on another box but are crossed out with 25 and 82gr. Seemed the tape was original. I could be wrong.

I opened one of the "original" boxes and found .257 bullets and 82 gr weights. They are flat base hollow point. I'm confused haha any insight I to what they are would help.
Thank you.

I'll post pictures

I thought so. I also don't know how or why the factory tape is on there, if that's what it is, and unopened but written on with a different caliber and bullet inside the box.

I have a similar situation with Berger 22 cal 45gr bullets. Notice my box is also factory sealed. These bullets shoot awesome in my PPC, I say shoot'em and dont worry about.
Have fun,
Aaron

That to me is so weird. Unless back then they were just packaged in the wrong boxes and fixed them by writing on them? I'd imagine mine are target bullets? Wonder how they'd perform on game.

If they are like any of the other Bergers that I've used, spectacularly!!
