You sure can it’s all what your reamer neck dia is where you have to nk turn your brassNice! Thinking about a 22 Dasher build.
Can I just buy 6 Dasher Alpha brass and size it down?
Are there any problems that I may run into sizing it down?
I don’t drive it hard I’d say 2500 or moreWhat’s the expected barrel life on a 22 dasher?
Tony this is my 22 Dasher have just been able to fire form around 100 cases . Shoots very well even though it’s twisted right . I have using the 53 gr. V-Max for woodchucks .Just getting ready to put together a .22 Dasher, and reviving this thread! I would like to see some more real life experiences please...

No it came on the gun when I purchased it . I don’t know if it was the original that was filled and reshaped . But very comfortable and I had it repainted like it a lot .Pat that sure is another beautiful XP that you have, really like it a lot. Is that stock from Aaron?
Love the subtle red splatter paint or was that just from a close one . LOL

I own two 22 Dasher rifles. Both have a 0.025" Freebore and 8 twist barrels. Shooting 53grn V-Max bullets in one and Bart's 52grn Ultra's in the other at just shy of 4000fps. I'm using IMR 8208XBR powder in both rifles. I really like the 22 Dasher with 53grn V-Max bullets performance on Groundhogs. I haven't tried the new Hornady 62grn ELD-VT in the 22 Dasher yet however, I have tested them in my 22BR with a 7-twist barrel and really like what I see at the target.Just getting ready to put together a .22 Dasher, and reviving this thread!
