Best cutting oil for a one-time reaming job

Not a gunsmith but am mechanically inclined. After reading up on the topic I will be reaming a .32 caliber revolver chamber from .32 Long to .32 H&R Mag. This will be manually done with a T-handle, and since I can't justify purchasing a gallon of cutting oil for what will likely be a single job I would like to know the best recommended option for a cutting fluid for this task. I'm neither adverse to buying from Amazon nor making my own home-made product but just want to do the job safely, effectively and as economically as feasible.
Suggestions?

they sell 12oz bottles

tap magic would work. And then you have tap magic for the rest of your life.

I played with using the thick tap magic for final chamber cuts. It’s really great- but it makes my skin tingle something weird.

Dark Oatley or Ridgid. Both work great. I buy it by the case. I've cut hundreds of chambers with both.

That was the idea in the back of my mind. However, as cheap as the Oatey is at Home Depot I'll probably end up picking up a bottle or two which should last me a VERY long time for various shop projects.

The Ridgid……..We buy it in the 55 gallon Drums. ;)
We have it in the sumps of all of our machines that have coolant systems, such as our Turret Lathes and Large Milling Machines.

So far I’ve liked tap magic and standard dark cutting oil.
I have some boelube I’m going to try hopefully next week.

The old tap magic, (the stuff that smelled so good), from 20 years ago mixed with any dark Sulphurize Cutting Oil was like a tool bit in a can.

They outlawed it, the new stuff is just a shadow of the old.

I know why they outlawed it. One night, years ago, we were working an overtime job. I saw one of those big black roaches scampering across the floor. I took that squirt can of Tap Magic, aimed, and hit him with it.

That roach went belly up and died in seconds.

My goodness, if it would kill one those, what was it doing to us??!!

So it seems you're a pretty good shot with a rifle and a squeeze can! :D
