Who's got a new truck ?

No truck ever made compares to the TRX and its' 700+ horse power. Or ever will, unless RAM gets the 760 horse electric from the new Charger Daytona and boosts it to 900 or more.

In the last year or 2 Ford has some sort of offer for a 700hp 5 liter F150 in both 2 & 4 wheel drive. There was something weird about it where the dealer had to install the supercharger for some reason. A rwd shortbed 700hp p/u would be fun, but otherwise useless to me.

lol, your aluminum bodied and bed Ford truck with look great until you drop a cinder block in the point and it hits on the pointed corner, then your Ford aluminum bed truck will look like someone took a can opener to it.
Same happens with a metal bed. No difference. That's why I have a 1l2" heavy rubber bed mat. It's not a work truck either. I have one of those in a Super Duty. Gonna be tough dropping a cement block in the bed with a cap on the truck. It'll never see a cement block anywhere near it. Hunting and fishing gear, it'll see. No construction materials.

Ford Raptor R is a 700hp truck from the factory. The 2024 Rivian R1T will do a 2.7 second 0-60 mph time and 10.5 second 1/4 mile. Raptor is slow at 3.7 second 0-60 time.

I believe is the FP700 package.

Sure dents suck, rust sucks even worse and it's almost inevitable for both.

With the population of Big Fancy trucks here in Oklahoma, I would guess about 10 percent ever see any "work".

I'll say one thing, these big huge lifted trucks with their crazy bright headlights are just dangerous.

I like the 89! classic there. I can see the gun rack too! 429!!
First two things I added after purchase, 23 channel CB and gun rack. My then fiance' told me later she really hoped I didn't put a gun rack in it. In Great Falls, MT and thought they were supposed to be standard equipment. LOL.

Well, let’s see…. What are we learning?
If you worked hard for your money and have a newer dependable truck that doesn’t nickle and dime you then you must be some slack jawed Nancy boy.
And if you don’t dump tons of jagged cinder blocks onto your truck out of a loader then you probably sit down to pee.
LOL

Around here, if you have a 3/4 ton, jacked up 6 foot, 22 inch rimmed, off-road tired, 4x4 truck, 1 in 3 chance you are top guy at a roofing contractor. My buddy Hutch is a roofer. We have had a few laughs about that.

Apparently, you get a tax break if your company truck is over 3/4 ton.

I have a 2014 Ford SD I use to heavier duty work but mostly to haul my slide in truck camper. Need the payload to load a 2k lb camper. Air bags and extra leaf for the load. Heavier duty sway bar and better shocks for an improved ride. I have the new F150 for towing my smaller trailers and boat plus it'll be our ride for longer trips out of state. I don't dump foundation blocks in my beds like the Chevy commercial claims Ford trucks are not capable of doing with an aluminum body. That's a funny commercial. Nice try Chevy. While their trucks rot, Ford trucks will look new and value will be better years down the road. I almost bought a Chevy this year because they look so much better than Ford half ton trucks do. Ford shit the bed on the look of the 150s. I bought the aluminum truck for longevity I guess. Must be an old man I guess cause I'm settling in the look of the Ford F150 vs the higher riding Manly look of the Chevy half tons. Ford makes a Tremor I guess which was an option but I still like the Chevy Trail Boss look better.

Not a true statement at all. The top of the line Ford Raptor R makes 720hp.
We are already working on the all electric RAM truck and it will be over 700hp. Speaking of electric, I’m driving an all electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack now. It absolutely smokes the doors off my neighbor’s Charger Hellcat. The Electric Chargers don’t come out for production for at least another 6 months.

I'd like to be able to afford these pieces of crap (all of 'em), then act stupid and drop what ever in the bed, (again all of 'em), take em off road and treat 'em like crap beating the ever loving daylights out of them like some of these commercials. That nonsense is cumulative and destroys trucks in a hurry. Most sane people don't take their daily driver and do any of that. I had a 1996 F150 300six I beat the crap out of and broke brake lines with some major flex and jerking on logs pulling them out of a pile but I had $1200 plus a clutch kit not $120k.it was a WORK truck/tool not a 4wd Lincoln or Cadillac.

You just can’t beat electric for the immediate power and torque. I’m no electric car fanboy, but making an electric car/truck that outperforms its gasser brother is really easy. The Tesla Cybertruck in beast mode will go 0-60mph in 2.6s, find me a gas truck or car that does that.
