1 lighter bullet in a 6br/?

80 Gr Barts -.030 OTL's, IMR 8208, 29.8 grs, Velocity ??? ,Laupa Brass, CCI 450 Pri

90Gr Berger BT Target +.009 ITL's, Varget, 29.6, Velocity ???, Laupa Brass, Fed 205m Pri

Bc'z

Both rifles are chambered for 105 gr class bullet.
I'm shooting the 80's in my Factory Savage F-Class 6MM BR rifle.
The 90's in my Custom 6MM BRA Kreiger barrel Fire Forming the Brass.

Amazing how well the 90's shoot fire forming. My initial test @ 100 yds ,2 shots into the same hole.
This was with the bullets .009 ITL's. Since the initial load / seating test. I have shot 1 "UBR 243 Target" at 100 yds. shooting in 6-10 MPH winds. I was able to shoot a Score of 60 w/4X's. This is just a Local club shooting centerfires for some bragging rights.
Just ran 3 powders through GRT.
SWP, N140, IMR4166

BC, Curious as to what the data was on the SWP. Would you care to share? I have a lot of it ( SWP ). I don’t have a computer just IPad and IPhone or I would do it.
Precieved max is 32gr SWP @ 2.270 COAL....
Tread lightly and do a powder/preasure work up 1st to see what's going to work for your set up

Precieved max N140 32gr,
IMR4166 31.5

Fir pure accuracy, none of the 80 or 90 grain bullets will stand with the Barts 80 grn Dominator. It’s a true custom Benchrest Bullet.

In my 6BRA, which has a .103 Freebore, I shoot the Barts 80 at 3450 fps with 33.7 grains of H4895, with great accuracy at 200 yards. I also have a load of 32.3 grains of N135 that shoots quite well. I shoot 1-12 twist Bartlien or Krieger barrels.

I am jumping them just a little, probably .010.

This was this morning. 20” 10 twist Remington Varmint on my little hunting rifle with my new 2-16 z8i.

Dominators and N135. I found my seating depth between .004 and .008 off but it shot well to .012 off (wheeler method.) I’m using 205Ms. It’s averaged .270 for 5 shot groups for quite a while. Coyotes hate it.

Sorry about the bad pics. There’s water in my camera.

Is the Bart's 80 grain Dominator a boattail or a flat base bullet?
