Garand powder

Yes. It's one of the better performing powders mentioned in the Hornady manual, in the service rifle section. I just bought 8 lbs myself.
 
WIN 760 made for the 30-06
Winchester 760 is actually a bit too slow for a Garand. According to a 1986 article on loading for the M1 published in American Rifleman by John R. Clarke, powders should be equal to or faster than IMR 4320 to avoid high port pressures and potential operating rod damage. He lists powders from IMR 3031 to Win 748 as optimal for bullets in 168 grain range. Use of IMR 4320 is limited to 150 grain bullets.

VV 135 is very close to IMR 4895 and should work great.
