what bullets come in a blue box?
didn't know about this on the bergers, are they present on all bergers or just some designs like the hybridsWe’ll see if Hornady can replicate the Berger pressure ring. They haven’t on any other bullet.
Sounds like they're manufacturing as well as marketing geniuses since they're the only company able to keep the shelves full with 1/3 the number of the employees as the local CostcoWorld wide Hornady has 74 employees and 1 plant.
I share the same feelings. It seems great and all for Hornady if they can sell Hybrids that physically duplicate Berger’s for less money, but if they don’t shoot consistently as good as Berger’s then I don’t see them doing anything special. We can already buy other “Match grade” bullets from multiple manufacturers that have similar BCs to the Hybrids. It’s not just the design of the bullet, it’s the consistency and the tolerances to which they’re held during manufacturing.Regardless of how we feel about this, one way or the other, Hornady will have to seriously consider their manufacturing techniques to get up to par with Berger.
This will be an interesting series of events and product releases.

No one will know that they didn’t come out of a yellow box, unless you tell them.
So now we have to be leary of buying open boxes of 105 Bergers. No one will know that they didn’t come out of a yellow box, unless you tell them.![]()
Well, I doubt anyone here would do that. I was just being a little light hearted about Hornady’s new offering. So now we have to be leary of buying open boxes of 105 Bergers.
Isn't that just great.
