Yup, Instructions sat 5" to 15" and it works great there.Just a guess but based on the recommended 5"x5" to 15"X15" and maybe a beam width of 30 some odd degrees, about 2 yards out the bullet is IN THE BEAM and giving a Doppler shifted return.
A range of about 20 yards is implied for barns, brick walls, and large targets.
Hi Bill, I do, but what I asked was at what distance from the rifles muzzle does the bullets speed get picked up on its way down range.follow instructions that came with the unit.
