Cataract surgery went well today in right (trigger) eye. A little blurriness and discomfort now but Dr. says it will improve soon. Seems I can tell a difference already with brightness but probably too soon to tell for sure. Can't wait for the 10 days of healing to get over so I can shoot again. Appreciate all the prayers from all.

I’m glad it well Bill, you’ll be back on the bench in no time!

I’m due myself in a couple years. It’s amazing what modern medicine can do in regards to eyesight.

I had a buddy with cataract surgery 6 mos. ago. It went very well. He confirmed it took about two weeks for everything to optimize.

I'll need it in another year or two. At night from 100 yards, a stoplight is a 12'-diameter starburst. Headlight starbursts are really bad in traffic at night.

Yea, it was beginning to bother me pretty much. My worst complaint was not being able to keep my dot in the scope focused on the 1/4 inch dot @ 100 yds. that I normally use for load development. It was in and out most days. And at 200 - 300 yds. I could forget seeing the tiny red dots on the IBS score targets as well.

Mine were done two years ago with major improvement, just need reading glasses. Be prepared to use wetting drops several times a day forever, I keep several of the small vials in my shooting box too.

Yes Sir, I always had the dry eye so nothing new there. LOL.

That part about "seems" to be brighter is real. I was floored to see the difference and to rediscover what white looks like. I was seeing nearly beige instead! Enjoy...
