20-222 shooters

You guys have some very nice rifles. I appreciate all that responded. It really is a great little round. I have 2 of em. My other is a sako L461 sporter. I use this for a walking gun, short range.

Kept the clean original look on the vixen. 11tw Lilja factory contour. Id really like to try A2230 as well as N133,reloader 7. I have many many 20 cal bullets. Lol and no time!

Some pretty sweet rifles shooting this little cartridge. I occurs to me that you don't seem to hear about a lot of "barrel burn-out" with this chambering. I don't load mine to its upper limits, and there is quite a bit of room to go if I wanted. Has anybody out there fried their barrel with this cartridge?? jd

I have a friend who built his over 10 years ago, hunts PD's every year several times. Bore looks rough, but still shoots very well. Don't know the number of rounds; he's shot it a lot, but not exclusively as he has other PD rifles.

Also guys i wanted to mention… i really wish hornady would bring back that 45gr soft point. It worked well for me in 3 different 204’s. And shot better than the 40gr vmax in my 12” tw. Pretty tough and would leave a nickle hole threw yotes. Wish sierra made a 36-39gr gameking sp.
