RCBS Rock Chucker 2 date?

Is there a trick to removing the die bushing? I have tried every tool I have (for the job) and have never been able to remove it.

Use a socket

1 1/2” socket to be exact, or 15” adjustable wrench. Either or should work.

Penetrating oil might help, freeze the whole thing will help or a good soaking with cold spray.

My Rockchucker, plain RC, no I or II, carries a date code of 76

My Rockchucker RC II carries a date code of 87

Mine says "70"

Just received the new primer catcher assembly for my RCII press --- replaced the black primer tray with his design - slightly loose due to manufacturing tolerances on the press but it replaces the RCBS tray exactly. He included 2 clips for the tray, 2 plugs for the primer arm and several plugs for the primer cut-out in the ram along with clear instructions... going to have to test it out and see how much of an improvement over the OEM RCBS design this is. I already like the drop tube and the deep spent primer well design...
