Age related macular degeneration (Eye Issue) -- Can Special Glasses Help?

MHG

I’ve got a close friend who is experiencing moving crosshairs. This condition has worsened and I’d like to find if there’s any help available from special glasses. Another friend said at one time he read an article regarding glasses that helped alleviate the issue.
Please PM me with thoughts
Thx

Your opening up a whole can of worms for this shooters forum to deal with!
Your friend needs a eye specialist to advise him on his options> JMO
Hope he find help soon

Agree 100%. You need to see an ophthalmologist to diagnose and treat your condition

No special glasses.
If it's just one eye, use the other one.
Mine is the left, fortunately I'm right handed. If it was my right eye;
Single shot/lever action or left handed bolt.
Shotgun is a bit of an issue as loss of depth perception and focus on moving objects.
Another idea to test would be a duplex that has very heavy outside crosshairs, sort of peep sight.

See a Retina specialist immediately. I just had my first eye injection a week ago and think I can see improvement already. One shot a month for 3 months and recheck.
