An unfortunate incident earlier this year at a 600 yard BR match left my NF 15-55 looking like this.
The scope took the full impact of a drop on concrete from about 3 feet. This happened just after I had verified zero for the weekend match and I was 300 miles from home. I was ready to pack up and head home but someone suggested I try to see if the scope would function. To my amazement, I was able to get it back on target in three shots. I stayed for the weekend matches and finished 3rd in the Two-Gun both days. There was NO problem with failing to hold POI all weekend. Guess what I will buy for my next scope?
BTW, I sent the scope back to NF and they repaired it to perfect condition and returned in 8 days (from the day they got it until I had it back) and it is as good as before the accident.
