Just received the Shadetree Top yesterday evening and got it mounted on my B E base last nite. Had a chance to try it out on the bench this afternoon and man is it ever much better than the traditional top. So little movement to return to position with this thing. Appreciate the fine work from Butch for building a First Class Product. I would not ever want to go back to the old style.

That's good to hear. I've got one ordered also and the USPS tracking says it hit Denver last night. So may be here today or tomorrow for sure. Initially, he indicated because of a shop move it might be mid-September.

BTW, @Bill Norris where did you find those feet? Are you using on a bench or F Class prone (what I do )? TIA

Yes Butch is a grate man he gave me a 150.00 certificate for a top to be given away at my UBR State Shoot this weekend but stated he wanted it to go a new shooter or the lowest shooter I think that's a good way to get more people involved in the sport with that a big thanks to Butch Lambert

Yes! The top shooters are doing and using the right stuff. It is commendable to help out the man who needs a little help.

Used the same base and had the modified windage adjustable top on it. Good but not anywhere close to the Shadetree top.

It's a good top for sure. I've shot over more expensive rests but I will honestly say that I shoot just as bad from them. Lol!

Yeah - I mod'd mine for windage too and it is so-so. Better than the floppy cable. Looking forward to the ShadeTree top.

I added a Sinclair Speed Screw to my Shade Tree + BE. Better Still.
