Ruger 10/22

When I last checked mine I believe it was 6-8 ozs. I'm not sure which off hand. I could check it again.
That is with a reworked factory trigger.

My 10/22 story is that right after they came out with the take down model I had to have one. Then I started shooting the rimfire steel plate match at my club, and I started upgrading that rifle, and putting the original parts in a box until I realized I had replaced every part on the rifle. I got the parts box out and rebuilt it, then sold it to a friend who wanted it more than I did. This experience reminded me of the song by Johnny Cash about getting a car one piece at a time.

Have any of you 10/22 guys ever had. A Hole drilled in the back of the reciever in line with the bore to facilitate cleaning with. Rod? If so what do you use for a bore guide?

My Brownells receiver has the hole but I use the Possum Hollow muzzle bore guide with the magazine patch collector.
