Help me pick a new barrel/cartridge for my girlfriend?

Can't find or recall if there was ever any update to this list in terms of "cartridge used" detail, but I hope this is of some use to you.

Maybe @Matthew Schwartzkopf has a list for 2024? It would probably show the 7 PRCW (7-6.5PRC variant by @Alex Wheeler ) showing up compared to 2020? That design will throw your Berger 7mm 180 hybrids just fine.

But aren’t you missing the point that Dave being a seasoned shooter just walked away from a big match seeing that a change in something would give them a advantage in those adverse conditions.
As much as I like the accuracy of the 6BR, Dasher, etc., that wind can change a LOT over 600 yards, relative to shooting point blank. If a guy is using the right bullet, pushed to a speed where he can maintain tune in the "larger' cartridges, it can definitely provide a boost on such windy days. Conversely, a 6 PPC has whipped all comers on occasion under calm conditions - and set records doing so. Good argument for two well-thought -out rigs, I think.

I saw this first hand at nationals on Saturday and Sunday.
