New barrels that are shot in go quickly. 5-10. Seasoned barrels can take 50-60 if they need a deep clean. Carbon deposits can be layered and take extra effort. If its fire cracked severely i will let it soak over night and it will still take a 30-40 patch aggressive treatment and maybe some iosso paste.

After a match, about 60 rounds typically, with the barrel still warm, I use 4-5 wet patches. This is followed by two (2) applications of Wipe-Out Foam 20 minutes apart. The barrel is then plugged at chamber and muzzle. Then a few hours later, I will patch out the Wipe-Out with 5-6 patches. The amount of brushing needed is VERY minimal -- you folks would not believe how little brushing is needed. YMMV, but one of our club members switched to this system and he probably brushes 70% less and his barrel life has improved 30+%. This is with a 6BR and 6BRA type cartridge. If you're shooting a large F-Open cartridge that's a different game.
Please explain your process for using the wipe out foam. It appears that you put it in from the muzzle end based on the cone on the end of the nozzle. Also, how are you plugging the chamber end? And the muzzle end to let it soak?? This is the stuff you are referring to correct?

Anyone STILL in search of the perfect tightness combination for 6mm between jag and patch. I have been using a 22 jag with a pro shot 1.5” round patch and it’s a tad tight unless quite wet. Also, looking for the perfect combo of jag/patch for my 7mm’s. I’ve basically resorted to using a 22 jag on all 6/6.5/7mm barrels and then finding the best fitting patch to give the correct tightness to the barrel. I like my first few wet patches to fit loose to leave more of the fluid in the barrel, but after those first few I switch to a tighter fitting patch to get more pressure and surface area.

I ran out of proshot patches and grabbed a bag from Bruno's they fit tight in bore with appropriate sized jag, way tighter than a proshot patch.
Only down side is they want to repell Wipeout-Patchout almost like a surface tension needs to be broken.
Excellorator absorbs no problem

I use a 22 jag and 1 3/8" patch (round).

Typical Center Fire Rifle Cleaning:

3 - solvent saturated in fouled bore.
3 - solvent saturated after bronze brushing (15 strokes)
6 - dry after solvent dwell time (15 - 20 minutes)
2 - with few drops of mineral oil.
2 - before shooting a clean oiled barrel - 1 patch of mineral spirits - 1 dry patch.)

Total: 16

Been using a patch out and the accelerator, takes 12-15 patches for most of my cleaning. Instructions say you don’t need to follow with oil but I do, one oily patch and another 2-3 dry patches to leave a thin coat. If it gets stubborn I’ll try leaving foam out over night, it won’t hurt the barrel and repeat the next morning. so 15-30 patches

jd, to get that puppy clean with copper OUT, try some of Holland's Witches Brew. It works on those stubborn barrels that get much cussing because they won't ever seem to get clean. It's one of those little secrets that seldom gets talked about, but it plain works.
Never tried it, how strong is it? Can you leave it in the barrel or is a Sweets type of thing?
