Wilson inline & FB projectiles

I know Wilson says do NOT drop projectiles in from the top..
..
But on flat base bullets it really speeds things up. So am I really doing a disservice to the die if I choose this method?

I know a couple of really good shooters that do it.
It will take a long time to wobble out a seater, imo

Not sure how much faster it could be. I shoot Berger Columns a lot; I place the bullet over the case mouth, then pick up charged cases while holding the bullet and case mouth between thumb and forefinger, and slip the die over both while sliding my fingers down the case a bit. Doesn't take very long.

There is a reason for the instructions. It is a precision seater and the tolerances are what they are for a reason. I am sure they will happily sell you another die. Realistically how much time can you possibly save.

Your right. I guess it's more so a matter of convince.

The FB bullets give these old arthritic hands trouble.
