Bullet list for poll

I figured I'd start a separate post for the list of bullets to put in the poll.

I'm going to list 3 categories for the bullets, all 6mm. It does not matter what 6mm cartridge you shoot them in, I want to know what your favorite bullet is for each distance listed.

Like I said when the poll is finished I'm going to buy the bullet that comes out on top for each category and test them compared to what I've been shooting.

Categories:

1: favorite bullet for 100-300 yard.

2: favorite bullet for 300-600 yard.

3: favorite bullet for 600-1000 yard.

Well since I must shoot lead free bullets in my commie state, I use 99% only the lead free one's from Hornady, Nosler, Speer and Barnes.
Depending on critter hunted and distance it can be a little different in both weight and brand, which one I have loads worked up for in various rifles and calibers.
I have good and accurate loads for all and shoot critters and paper upwards of a average of around 500 yrds.

300 - 600 yards: 90 grain Berger
> 600 yards: 108 grain Berger

Anything over, Barnes 112 Match Burners

I haven't shot over 600, but if I were to, it would be the 105 gr Berger hybrid.

You will never go wrong with Barts Bullets in 6MM.

Again, 80 gr 100-300
105 gr for over 300

There is but some don't want to bring attention to their favorite bullets and create a "run" on them. Then there are some that make their own too.

most 600/1K benchrest shooters shoot custom bullets
Barts, Vapor Trails or Wheelers are the top three but I wouldn't waste them plinking or shooting steel.

I don't see how, everyone has a favorite 6mm bullet and I'm sure once the poll is put up we will see a trend towards what most people here are having success with. As far as I know this is how you find out what is working.
