Howa mini question

I bought a Howa mini barreled action in 6.5 Grendel and rebarreled to 6mm AR (6mm Grendel).
About one minute after I was committed it became available in 6mm ARC.
I used a Boyd’s stock and Oregon Gunsmith bottom metal.
Barrel is a Van Horn, I worked there, retired in December, and made it.
Built as a jackrabbit gun with enough punch to handle larger creatures that might be encountered.

Very nice, hard to beat two tone in wood in my opinion, If I decide to get new barrel on 22-250 it will be similar to your look

I'm mental when it comes to that kind of stuff. I see people never headspace ARs and do the same thing you're thinking about. Never seen something bad happen, but why risk it? I just switched a barrel from one custom action to the same exact custom action I bought a few months ago, and still checked head space. Can't hurt anything I guess.

The Howa mini in the MDT looks mint! I'm eye balling one right now.

Your original mag won’t work? What caliber? I use the 70 nosler (pretty short) and it does real good.

Hi! I might be able to solve your problem. I bought a Howa mini in 6.5 Grendel and bought the metal bottom metal for it with an internal mag. The plastic bottom metal and magazine is sitting in a drawer. I’m never going to use it. Let me know if you want it.
