Guys: Here in Canada last week 6 people were murdered in a residence in Ottawa, Ontario. A mother, 4 children and an adult. The father came up on it and was able to defend himself, contain the killer and get the police. The 6 people were stabbed and killed with a pointed object ( fancy name for a knife). The first thing reported by our worthless Liberal CBC on the National news was a "Mass shooting in Ottawa". They have since corrected this but only hours later. The damage was already done , giving the people the impression that again guns done something. Believe nothing you hear on the news because it will be spun the suit the snowflakes. I am so FFFFFF pissed. Rant over, TKS for reading.
 
I went fishing in Canada last summer. Being a little aware of the leftist political leaning, I thought I should check to see if I should pack my folding belt knife. Turned out a man can get in a bit of trouble carrying a belt knife in public. I did a deep dive into it and found stories quoting officials using the same language they use here about guns, just insert “knives”. “Save the children, danger to society” etc. I bet hammers will be next.

Or knitting needles. Can't trust old ladies with pointy objects. I think most of the Common Wealth nations have similar bans on pointy objects. OZ and England for sure. I sent a cutlery set to England for a wedding and I was worried that it would be confiscated. Turns out that you can still have pointy object in the kitchen but you can't carry them. It did cost me an extra 180 bucks to get it out of the hands of the customs house though (it was a nice set). I found this is what they are all about:

You can't carry knives, including kitchen knives, Swiss army knives or box-cutters, batons, cattle prods or bayonets without a lawful excuse. A 'lawful excuse' could include having the weapon for work, sport, recreation or a weapons collection, display or exhibition. Lawful excuse does not include self-defence.
 
Not sure about carrying a knife ( small blade) around. I see alot of guys up here wearing them with no problems.

You should have seen them at the border when going through my truck and found an empty speed loader and a holster. They said come clean now and nothing will happen. I said I already told you I have no firearms or ammunition. After more searching the one that was a dick came back in and set down. I asked him if they found my log chain and jumper cables in the rear compartment. He gives me a dirty look.....I gave one back....5 guys searching let us go after an hour or so. I realize they have a job to do, but being a dick isn't one of them.

Coming back into the States was easy. 1 guy asked a couple questions. Where to send the credit card, monthly check, and motel vouchers......

Next they will ban our machine tools because we could manufacture a weapon....how will they ban rocks?
