Garmin chrono

I am about to buy a chrono. Are there any versions, models, variations of the Garmin to consider or is there just one flavor?

There is only one Garmin chrono, but it is worth mentioning that Caldwell just announced their new radar chrono and labradar now has an updated version. I can't say that either of them will be better than the Garmin but, they may drive the price down for the Garmin (at least that's my hope). Since it's release the Garmin has sold at MSRP everywhere with discounts being limited.
