'Rust' armorer found guilty of involuntary manslaughter?

Have you guys watched the video of the so called gun expert they called on stand? The judge asks him to show that the gun is unloaded for the court and he immediately points it at her. The bailiff at least seems to be on top of things.

Wow. I cannot believe this guy is a firearms expert.

ETA. Here's his write up from Linkedin

After years of working in high-risk, high-stress environments as operators, handlers, and instructors, the staff of Dark Thirty Film has taken their extensive background in private military operations and law enforcement and applied it to work that’s a bit more laid-back and fun. Much like our experience in the military, our philosophy is defined by honor, dignity, character and respect. We are highly skilled and knowledgeable weapons masters working strictly with film and television productions. We train actors to use firearms and weapons on set, we rent prop, replica, and custom weapons to productions, and we act as technical advisors on scripts involving any type of military operation, weapons use and application and law enforcement agency.
Something wrong. His behavior in that video says he knows nothing about safe handling of firearms. It's not like he made one mistake, but several and repeatedly swept people.

The a lot of the testimony against her, based on how poorly she she followed(enforced/educated) muzzle awareness safety protocols on the set. Actors having "live" firearms during walk thru/rehearsals, "flagging" people and the presence of live ammunition on the set. I haven't watched enough testimony to see who linked her with the revolver/live round "handed" to Baldwin. The production company(Baldwin is a producer) didn't even budget(money wise) enough days for her or the prop manager to be on set for all the "gun battles".

I'm surprised that, Hannah G., WASN'T "Lynched",.. on the Spot !
. WORST Defense Lawyer, I've ever, seen !
She was Outside the Church and David Hall's and Alec B were,.. inside.
David Hall's ( Asst Director and "Safety Engineer" ) saw, 3 Dented Primers in the cylinder and looked, NO Further !
He then, handed the Gun to, A B and Yelled ,.."Cold Gun" !
She was "Set-Up",.. IMO and,.. Something, Smells, here !
A B should have, checked the gun, too !
But for SURE, he should NOT have, aimed, the Revolver, "Squarely" AT,.. Halyna H.

But, she made, a Ton of, mistakes, also !
The Sheriff's Dept., also did, a POOR, job of, investigating as, the Fired brass casing WITH possible Finger Prints was,.. MISSING !

He pointed the gun. He pulled the trigger. He didn’t make sure the gun was empty. People have even been killed with blanks. An inexcusable, irresponsible act by a self-absorbed adult with total disregard for another’s safety. Questions?

This is only my opinion. The film company hired another company to train the actors and manage the firearms and ammunition. That company failed in its duty to do so and should be held accountable without question. However, as I understand it, the firearms company handed a loaded firearm to the actor and told him it was a "cold" firearm. I don't care who the actor was. He did use the firearm in a negligent manner but only after being told it was benign. In my mind it is the same as giving a vehicle to an actor. It would be inspected to be a safe vehicle but the actor can't drive it into a group of people. However, it is the responsibility of the management of the film company to ensure that the firearms company is doing its job properly and from what I understand that wasn't done. There were several other incidents prior to the fatal one that if the incidents had been investigated and acted on would have prevented the fatal.
As an actor, I don't hold Baldwin that responsible for the fatal. A minor charge if anything. However, as the owner and managing person I hold him totally responsible for the death and should face severe penalty up to and including long time jail time.
