Reticle for Smallbore Prone ?

Clyde, I try to use the same reticle as on my Highpower prone guns. For consistency. In my case a duplex.
Regards, Jack.

I'm using a 4-20 Sightron STAC with their MOA-2 reticle for rimfire F-Class. It has a centre dot detached from the crosshair, plus "ladder rungs" at 2 moa intervals. I believe the centre dot is 1/8 moa.

Jack, thanks for the reply.
I like your logic but when I started using scopes in high power some years ago, I bought Leupold scopes with the 1/8 MOA dots and I liked that reticle very much for that application, being able to see the dot in the X ring was great. Now with aging eyesight it is a strain on the eye. I am slowly gradating to a ring reticle that is much easier to see. It seems like for SB prone more scope power to see bullet holes and a larger dot may work better for the SB application.
Best wishes
Clyde

It is looking like I need a larger dot on more magnification to see bullet holes.

I prefer a fine ch but switched my smallbore gun to duplex because I can lose the fch in indoor matches.

This sound more like what I need.
Can you cite a source for this scope?
I have done some looking online but have not found what you describe.
They were Silhouette scopes, not made any longer. But if you watch on some web places they can be had, sometimes with a 1/2 min dot too. I have a 25x and 30x, same configuration.
