Frankly speaking I never back off below 40 power in the mirage. Considering majority of shooting wiil be 100m BR, minority of shooting 600m I guess it can be a reasonable choice. How will you turn down the power during a period of heavy mirage ?
In a regular variable riflescope like the March-X 10-60X56 HM, the zoom function is in the erector tube inside the main tube. As you twist the magnification ring, this causes lenses inside the erector tube to move and thus change the magnification of the image being transmitted from the FFP to the SFP. The eyepiece is a fixed focal length looks at the image on the SHP and transmits it afocally to your eye.Frankly speaking I never back off below 40 power in the mirage. How does the mechanism of adjustingvmagnification differ from 10-60HM?
why?Can the magnification be reduced below 40x ?
My Kahles and my NF 35 power Atacr are more clear and precise to aim than my March High Master. I would send the March back if I thought it would help.
Really? Have you contacted anyone about it?My Kahles and my NF 35 power Atacr are more clear and precise to aim than my March High Master. I would send the March back if I thought it would help.
Never too much scope for me....I always need more...lolNot saying that the scope is bad just saying 60X may be too much power for the conditions.
Have you followed up with March after doing that? Their support is legendary. The March-X 10-60X56 HM is an awesome scope. It is a 10-60 X 56.
Contacted March. They told me to make sure rings not too close to ends or center and only tighten to a certain inch pounds. I remounted scope per those recommendations. The clarity just isn’t there for me. Not what I think it should be considering the price. Stuck it on my .22 to shoot 100 yards.
Yeah, I hear you. That's when Majesta comes in.Never too much scope for me....I always need more...lol
