I will take a minute to share about the filler I used. It’s a great product to use because it dries really fast. Almost too fast. It’s called Famo Wood Filler. You need to buy a can of thinner with a can of filler and thin the filler by 50%, at least. It took me 15 minutes to cover the stock. I gave it 5 minutes and started sanding. It’s a lot faster than wet sanding to fill the pores.

Where do you find wood big enough to make a gun stock . thickness isn't the problem but every thing is all small pices .
