New Garmin Xero C1 Radar Chronograph

Just got mine yesterday. I knew it was small, but holy cow this thing is tiny! Now to mount it on the post of my Lenzi. Total upgrade form my Shooting Chrony.

I’ll be ordering a Garmin real soon, id like to mount it to my front rest. What types of mounting brackets are guys using ?

The smallrig QR is likely what you want. I'd just go to the smallrig site, find what you want, then search for best price on it. I've used their stuff for years for photography, all excellent.

Not really good with this stuff but see if it works... John
You’re good enough’ thanks.
I called Bullet central sales dept. to order a Garmin this morning and they didn’t want to take my money over the phone, so I just called Bruno’s instead. Amy had no problem taking my money.

Cash is King !

Garmin has caught up on inventory and everyone has one for sale.
So now what's going to happen to sales once everyone has one
and sales start to fall off?
Not like you need to buy one every year.
Are they going to discount them or come out with a 2.0 version?

Just a side note, a Labradar was just posted for $225 here. A new low.

The old style LabRadar is easier to repair than the new highly integrated units.
Power connector, SD card connector, microphones, inertia triggers, battery packs, epoxy broken parts, red dots for alignment.
Try that with the Garmin :)

I just feel like with a properly heated work area and my current lenses this isn't an issue. If I can remove an SMD resister off an Yeasu to MARS Mod. Certainly the Garmin won't be that hard.

Yup, been to government micro-min repair school, did my own boards but resistor and 74 series chips have changed.
Ran the Module Repair Shop aboard the JFK, CVA67, back in 73-74 as an AQ1, and a NASA electronics lab for years after that. But, hot air reflow soldering, sometimes the entire board. is the trend in micro miniaturization.
Single large chips maybe not a problem, except pin grid arrays.
It's wires and connectors that are giving old Pentium computers and the LabRadar problems :)

Has anyone tried it on a firing line with other rifles shooting along side?

I have had mine a few weeks but haven't tried it along side another shooter

We used one at an Fclass match before release and it only picked up the intended shooter. Those were pretty close together.

Another day a buddy and I used one each next to each other and had no issues with cross interference. We had probably one target width between us at that time.
