2 Per Stand

The extreme cold subsided and we've be working on the coyotes. Wind from the east has always been a no go for us. Just hasn't worked. But this weekend the wind refused to change direction or let up so we went last night anyway.

Used the exact same calling sequence 3 stands in a row and called a pair to each stand. Only killed one at each stand. We set up close enough that we can communicate but the wind hampered that. I killed at the first stand, DRT 17 Fireball V-Max 25. He killed at the next 2 stands DRT 6.8SPC 85 Barnes.

Called it quits at 1:30 this morning.

Yea I think they were all females. Good and bad I guess.

Thanks ! All around 100 yards. Shot another one last night. She was more like 150 and on a trot. Couldn't get them to stop so I sent the bullet just in front of her and it worked. DRT Gotta love 4k FPS

Dang but those are some healthy-looking dogs - very nice pelts. Kind of hate thinking about a den full of pups losing their mother, but if it weren't for hunters thinning out the coyote population, Mother Nature would do it by starving them to death or with diseases like mange...
