Teslong Borescope

My Teslong borescope is a few years old, from when they first came out. I accidentally found it today, looking for something else. I tried YouTube but, no help in how to set it up. Of course, I have no instructions manual. Help!

My first Teslong used an app to view & use on a laptop. There were several different apps, and you had to try each app to see if that particular app worked or not, and move to the next app if needed. It was a bit finicky and such. Frustrating at best.

I bought one of the "self-contained" newer models, has a viewing/battery unit about the size of a thick smart phone, but the viewing screen is a bit smaller than a newer smart phone screen, but still easy to use and see at 68y/o. No laptop, no apps, etc., just an on/off button and settings. Does accept a SD card so you can take pics and upload as needed. Easy to take to the range if needed/desired, but mine stays on the work bench.

I just use camera on lap top or chrome book no app needed for either. Mine is the cheaper flexible model.

With a phone, apps like Mo View work well (Play Store) along with others. With most laptops (both Windows and Chromebook) the resident camera app will handle it. Just plug it into the laptop and open your camera app and select the Teslong.
Do remember that IPhones require the WiFi version since the phone doesn't have enough voltage to power the Teslong.

Just tried it and it didn't work. I think I'll just get a newer version. Probably the jpx2rk mentioned.
