Thanks, I’ll keep this in mind.I’ve installed about 100 of em on shotguns, and maybe a half dozen on rifles. Happy to help if you need it!
Thanks for sharing that, photos look great tooThe factory return spring in it will probably be fine, you’ll want to adjust the hydraulic dampening on the rad unit down to less then 5 I’d say. Might depend on if you’re getting into the gun or free recoil. But I’d Start there. I’ve only ever installed stiffer return springs, for shotguns depending on firmness of the gun mount.
The super-light one (Hillman #28) if you want it to be anything more than an overpriced adjustable buttpad. I run that super light spring all the way up to 7-270 WSM without bottoming. The RAD absorbs recoil with the buffer. The spring, on the other hand just stores the energy give it back to you later. I have video from my tests, and not even my 284 can deflect the factory 80# rate spring (21# rifle). And which spring from Ace Hardware would most likely be appropriate for the 6BRA?

I'd recommend starting with the buffer set above 7, and work down until it wants to bottom, then increase until it doesn't.
