Thank you for asking. Now I am ‘busted.’ At present I am mostly involved in airguns. Hopefully this tame and frightening admission will not make me persona non grata! It probably will bore serious shooters, and I won’t blame them. I do study other disciplines, have a genuine interest in ballistics, scopes, etc., and chat a bit with more serious hunters and shooters. I am not a stranger to the real McCoy, however. I really do like to learn from those who know things, and watch and read.
In the last several years, I went from owning a Hawke Vantage and a Nikon (nice little scopes for what they do and at the price point) to getting a modest education in all kinds of scopes, including the Alpha ones. It was doing some looking for a March scope that bumped me into this forum. I have already seen a nice March in the Classifieds, but, there’s where that “Welcome to the poor house” comment I got comes into play!

What are you into, if you don’t mind?

We have air gunners here. and I have a couple myself A sheridan silver streak 5mm and a Benjamin .22 cal. Both were basket cases when I got them but now refurbished. Nothing high end though. I'm mostly into .22's I like refurbishing old beaters , making stocks and making rimfire actions from scratch. I did a couple of 1022's just to break things up.

That’s good to hear. If I did something besides airguns, it would be with my 10/22 and my .17 HMR.

Back to airguns, I have two .22 Marauders (and a Crown MKII), by the way, one with the LW barrel, which I have not yet had the chance to see how accurate it is. S7
