Welcome Steve. You have one of the best sources for powders & primers in your own back yard ... at least it was prepandemic. Express Pawn in Columbus, Ga kept the largest supply of powders & primers (not so much bullets) that I’ve ever seen in any store (with fair prices to boot). Hopefully one day, the enventory will return.
Oh, myself, I’m about 25 minutes north of Montgomery.

I have not. Not familiar with it. I’ve never done any competitions. I’m a hunter and just try to get the best ammo loaded for hunting rifles. Started reloading over 40 years ago but just trying to be a lot more precise now. I have learned a lot since joining this site.

I’m a member and can take a guest anytime. Look up East Alabama Gun Club. They have a webpage and are on Facebook. They have several pistol bays, two 100 yd rifle range and a 300 yd range. Not exactly long range but great hunting ranges for the southeast
