Something that expensive should be carried in a hard shell case, not a flimsy vinyl or cloth bag..

Which rest are you quoting a price on.

I wonder if we get charged the same price he quoted 2 years ago when the order was placed if and when the order ever gets filled? I guess you really need to know someone to get a rest from them and certainly don't buy that they fill orders in the order they are received.

This crossed my mind too. I'm assuming that when my order get stocked, then the price will be the current list price. Which kind of stinks, but that's what I'm guessing happens since no money is collected up front
