SuperTrickler Update 3.0

Here you go!
Thanks Bart, that did the trick for Varget. I was having great success with B52-B57 then jumped on the prod release v3.00 and I was all over the map, like 12.5-65%. No idea what was off with my upgrade, but your info pulled it right back into the 90+% immediately. I loaded up 40rnds this evening and only had to toss a few charges.

Have you tried H4350? I did that with v3.00 and it was 100% for the first 11 charges, then it just went bonkers and missed nearly every one after that increasing the overthrow with each charge. In all my testing I've never had that happen.

Which process was making it over throw? Bulk, fine or pulse?

Good question, it wasn't bulk but that was past yesterday and I can't remember whether it was a combo of fine and pulse. Usually the issue I run into is fine stops too early (seemingly), then pulse isn't aggressive enough at start so it goes for a while seems to timeout and does those bigger pulses but too late and pushes them over, but that mostly went away at about B55 or B57.
However in this case I think it was fine as it would bulk then fine right up to the charge and end up over. My concern with H4350 wasn't so much this as that it was 100% through charge 11 (total) then it started missing by .02-.03 over but each successive charge would be that much higher than the last. I quit once it was nearly 1gr over. It was really weird. After that I reset fine, pulse learning, checked settings but didn't notice anything. I tried some more and it was slowly getting better, but not great.

One of my problems is I done have enough understanding of what does what to get in there and make logical adjustments. I wish someone would do an advanced tuning class. I was getting some of the pre-releases, trying with a few powders and reporting back observations on charges, but mostly working other bugs and feature requests in the menu. I never tried v2.20 that came with it, I jumped to 2.40, then 2.41, then into pre release stuff for a while and now on v3.00. Before getting your Varget settings I was simply going to do a full factory reset and add back my presets file plus the powder file for 3.00. I had to do that with some of the previous ones as for whatever reason mine didn't take well to upgrades, it would do weird stuff and wiping the gremlins from it worked well for me.

I’ve got some H4350. Weather is going to suck for the next few days, so I’ll try and play with it. What is your standard load?

H4350 range of 36-41 but I was testing at 37. I see now that bulk and fine both have 0 for stabilize time, that's what ST had me check on Varget so likely the cause. As you know it shouldn't be zero (0).

So not sure I'd bother, I can fix that and test again. Previously my H4350 tests were well into the mid 90% range 95-97%, I think the upgrade just dorked something for those settings and maybe some others. I knew better than to try a .0 release but you got me all excited and I tossed caution to the wind.

I just played with mine again today. I did a factory reset, then cal test, then trickle test on varget. I was able to get it right on in 10 or less throws. During that test, I had to turn down the fine like 20% to keep from over throws. After that it was spot on every throw.

First time ever running H4350. I think the biggest key for the AI working is makes sure the tubes are primed, then using the auto function to set the vibratior speed.

Oh yeah I always do that first. Used to be H4350 wouldn't prime the vib tube, that's fixed heck now don't even need to do vib tube separate. Weird that in your video your vib tube wasn't fully charged, mine is every time now when the bulk prime runs. Before v3.00 even the vib prime wouldn't do it as it wasn't aggressive enough, I suggested just run it at fine 100% and appears that's what he's doing now for prime or near that. Then I do the vib speed and get it set. This was my issue with H4350, notice the part about charges 1-11 were 100%, then it went in the toilet for whatever reason.

So what was going over? Fine or pulse?

If I recall correctly it was pulse. I'll have to re-test as bulk and fine both had 0 for stabilize time, I haven't had time to retest but will this weekend and tweak pulse if needed. Thanks for that video, I got a few tips on tuning out of it. I know it's kinda hard to do much when it's cooperating like it was during your test.

0 stabilize time is not good.

No doubt. No idea what happened to get those set to zero but Peter had provided the recommended starting place for each profile (below). I still think on the H4350 with first 11 charges at 100% then it going bananas was some little gremlin in there messing with me.

bulk 500 ms
fine 700 ms
