No one plants alfalfa or feeds a cow when gas wells under that dirt pays so much more.
I'm in Southeastern Ohio, poor to none. Is it possible that fracking is driving them out ?
I was not bashing OG. It has been my experience though, many OG farms are doing a lot less farming, crops than in the past. Not hardly. If anything the extra money from O&G leases saved a lot of dying farms.
What a shame - I hunted Greene County farms in the 60's to mid 80's, some of the greatest varmint hunts I never had. I hunted several farms in the Graysville Area. When I hunt groundhogs, I go back to Cortland County NY.
Nothing happening here in SW PA. Washington County farms are now grown over because the $ is coming from under the surface.
LebanonWhat county in your opinion is overrun with groundhogs? Thanks
He said a, as in 1, farm had a good population. The farmer thought he was over run not the OP. I have found some farmers who have 2 or 3 holes on several hundred acres think they are overun. No it is not like it was in 1960 but some work might find a guy some good spots. It did for me.What county in your opinion is overrun with groundhogs? Thanks

I like the expression: There are two kinds of people, those that believe what others want them to believe and those that use the brain that god gave them.I've had game cameras through out SE Chester county, PA and have had pics of coyotes on every one. This is the latest.
