@Idaho-Lefty what is your final choice and what kind of accuracy are you getting?

It was Windy and Cold yesterday, I shot one, 7 shot, 3/4 MOA group with, 130 H-VLD's and, 43.3 grs, VV N-160 ( Only the first Test, of, COAL's, tho ) and, it was at, the shortest COAL of, 2.795 Per, the VV "Spec's".
Retested, the 130 gr. ELD-M's into, Sub 1/2 MOA, again, W/ 43.1 StaBall 65 at, a COAL of 2.820 " so THIS load will probably be, my LR Steel Target load, as it has been Repeating, small Group's, in the 3/8th to 1/2 MOA area,... several Times.

Nope, no sorting for me, as I AIN'T that good of, a shot to, tell the Difference.
I do buy, 200-500 Bullets with, the SAME Lot numbers, tho.
I'm impressed with, the 130 gr. ELD-M's ,.. so far

No,. I have tried, the 123 gr. Eld-M's but wanted, the 10% higher, BC's of, the 130's and hopefully, some of that great Berger, accuracy ( tightest Group's, possible ). I might try, 123 SMK's if, i can't get these H-VLD's to shoot well.

Another to consider might be the 6.5 Nosler RDF, available in 130gr (BC 0.615) or 140gr (BC 0.658), if you find your rifle likes them.

I'm going out today - we'll see. I'm only taking one load - 42.0 H4350. Will be shooting 600yds using friend's shot marker. Hopefully, this seat depth in THE ONE.

Load all rounds long, take your press with seater die and comparators with you to the range.
If 2 ain't touching 3 won't make it better

ummm, I'd have a hard time getting my bench and rock chucker to the range. so they're seated to one (perfect?) depth. Don't have an arbor press.

Well sir that's why we have wrenches..
I unbolt my RC from It's mount and use a couple of them pistol grip style clamps to hold it to bench at range.
I just started doing this this year following Zack Donovant's advise, yeah its a PITA moving your press.
Tuning a load in short order is not however.
Seating 1st, charge 2nd

The load worked pretty well. On 10 shots after sighters, I shot 96 1X. The 10 ring is 6” and the 9 ring is 12” , X ring is 3”. I think I’ve got something to build on….hopefully.

Good shooting, Thank You for the update. That was 42.0 H4350. How about the primer and brass?

I'm using Alpha SRP with G205MAR and will most likely start 41.0. The 153.5 Bergers should arrive this coming week.

Primer was Federal Premium Large rifle Lapua brass. Not sure how many firings - I should be better at that - but I'm not.

I couldn't really tell- screen is pretty small and with bright sun. The end result of 6- 10's and 4- 9's was good enough for me to say it's a good load. It'll shoot.
