6.5 Creedmoor Preferred Bullet Weight?

I'm going to try get, some "serious accuracy" out of, my 6.5 Creed, Tikka with, 130 gr. Berger, H-VLDS.
I wanted to try, the 130 Hybrids but couldn't find, a Box locally and "heard" that these, might be a touch more accurate anyway, IF, I could find the best, bullet seating depth, for, My rifle.
I have, the 143 gr ELD-X load, "Locked Down" at about, 1/2 to 5/8th MOA groups for, Hunting and Now, I'm hoping to find, a faster, lighter recoiling, Target / Varmint Load/ Steel Load for, All-around, Play.
Will be trying, VV N-160, StaBall 65 and IMR 4350 with, this Bullet @ hopefully OVER,.. 2,800 FPS.
Is anybody else using this Bullet, in their 6.5 Creed. with, good Results ??
I plan on testing,.. .050 to .130 "Jumps" as Tikka's have, a Ton of, Freebore.

I usually hunt with 140grhybrids up to 200m and so far they dropped a couple of wild boars nicely.
I settled on 140gr due to kinetic energy. I hunt up to 300m. Recently my last 3 hunts with 130gr eldx: bullets just exploded in the deer, so…

@ marchx,..
Yes the ELD-M's have a much thinner Jacket and ARE, more Explosive.
The 130 gr H-VLD's will be used only for, Targets and Varmints, as I want, the Speed and hopefully,..
real good accuracy to, 700- 800 Yds Max.
Hopefully one of, my 3 Powders works well at 2,800 fps and, I can Find, the correct, "Jump".
We've tested, the ELD-X's on, 3 Deer and 1 Elk and, they "work", fine at, Reasonable Ranges ( All, DRT within 20 Yds ).

Berger VLD's "can be" very accurate Bullets, IF you can find, "the Magic". ( powder / Jump, Combo ).
I found the Magic with, an 87 gr. H-VLD, in a .243 Win, 1-10 tw, Tikka with VV N-160, once and my son shot, a .277 dia group with that bullet. My grandson has killed 2, Large Desert Muley's with, that Load.
Hoping maybe, that kind of accuracy is possible in My 6.5 Creed. and I can exceed, smaller than, 1/2 MOA groups ??

I was doing well with the 144 Berger until they dried up. Then I found 142 Sierra. Will not go back. Accuracy between the two to 1000 I was equal. But at a mile it was Sierra all day.

I heard that, the 142 Sierra was a "Top" Bullet but, wanted to try the lighter,.. Faster,.. 130's
Only have, Scope Travel to 800 yds. This is, a 7.5 pound Hunting Rifle with, a 6 x 20 Burris, One inch Tube.

You are thinking the right way!
I hope so, as was thinking that, the 130's should be, close to proportionate for, the 6.5's powder capacity and my wanting, a Tad lighter Recoil, Faster Speeds and slightly less drop, for my needs to, 7-800 yds.
Now, i gotta wait til' Winter storms pass, so I can Test shoot my new loads, for best Jump's with, the H-VLD's !

@ Infrequent,..
No,. I have tried, the 123 gr. Eld-M's but wanted, the 10% higher, BC's of, the 130's and hopefully, some of that great Berger, accuracy ( tightest Group's, possible ). I might try, 123 SMK's if, i can't get these H-VLD's to shoot well.
