6MM-PPC bullets

COLT45SA

I'm shooting a custom built 6MM PPC that likes bullets on the light side. What is your favorite bullet under 70 gr for the utmost accuracy. My rifle loves the 62.5 gr Watson, and I've shot the last one I had.
If you have any Watsons gathering dust on a shelf somewhere, I'd like to buy them.

I have some bullets labeled, 62 grain flat base Bergers, did he make such a bullet?
Yes

I have shot a lot of 62gr. Watsons.
They were made on a .750 jackets that is no longer available. These days there are several decent bullets that are made on .790 jackets. Although some seem to have an allergy to bullets that are not hard to get, I have seen decent match results from Berger Column bullets, that are a flat base made on a .790 jacket.

Boyd- Bart Sauter bought Ed Watson's dies when he passed away and will still make bullets on those dies as far as I know.
Yes, I know, but where will he be able to buy .750 jackets to make Ed's 62s? As far as I am aware they are not available. J4 stopped making them some time ago.

All the customs are a pretty safe bet to shoot but ya never really know until you spend a little time tuning any of them up to shoot their best. I've won a bit with Barts. Good bullets. I've shot more of Larry Moore's Hillbilly bullets than anything over the last few years and I have to say that they are a very good bullet as well. Wish I could help with the old Watsons you're looking for. Got some of his old 22's but I guess I shot up the 6mm stuff. I'd say call Bart and see what he says since he has the dies. One thing I know though is changing any little thing about a bullet and it can be a different animal at times, and others, not so much. I wouldn't get real caught up in any specific bullet. Chances are very good that one of several good customs will shoot just as well and possibly even better once you find the sweetness.

I've shot the Berger 68gr FB and Sierra 70gr HPBT and both can shoot zeros (5 shot groups at 100 yds) when my eyes are cooperating. I've used H322 but have migrated back to N133. The PPC is best suited for the lighter bullet.
