I relate to your upbringing, my how times have changed. The broken homes and video games with multiple “life” resets have undoubtedly contributed to this mess.Hah, when I was in high school in 1977 in Oregon we always drove to school in our trucks and jeeps with the std 2 tier rubber coated back window gunracks loaded up with a deer rifle and a 22 or shotgun. And we would bring our flat top Blackhawks of varying calibers in our backpacks to show off at lunch break. During recess the gang would meet at a certain spot to chew Copenhagen and discuss to death, over and over, the merits of our respective big bores. Our main resource was field & stream and Outdoor life. I was sold on my 280Rem, I remember the others in my crowd having 270, 30-06, 45-70, 300 Savage and a 300 Weatherby. We all started reloading at 16. How times have changed! Sad how it has evolved since then and we are now the minority on the losing side.

HE can't do squat unless HE is elected to a position of power.Every democracy needs men like him.
Your post has some merit, but I also do not believe anyone should be the commander of our armed forces without ever serving our country. Please stop voting for candidates just because they were career military. They are usually the worst elected officials. They spent 20 or 30 years doing what the government told them to do without question. Why do you think they will be more concerned about you then the government?
Texas has this problem. Electing politicians only because they are veterans. They get to Washington and go right back to doing what the government tells them to do.

Till then, HE's just another Guy that thinks like a lot of us.
good luck convincing them (us), I truly wish it was possible to stop the machine that was put in motion so long ago, I do dream of that on a daily biasesWe need to elect People like him! But first, we need to convince them to run.
And remember that now that she (his wife) is dead the news touts her as a great supporter of mental health.Back during the Carter years they closed a load of mental hospitals and now these people have nowhere to go for help.Really smart move.
Not to mention CD rates paying 18-20%, but inflation was 25%. But, he was a nice guy, truly. As a president, he sucked. Worst since is the current idiot-in-chief.And remember that now that she (his wife) is dead the news touts her as a great supporter of mental health.
Her husband was the worst of all US presidents, and that’s saying a lot.
When he drops dead will we hear about:
Giving the Panama Canal away?
Granting unconditional amnesty to 200,000 draft dodgers?
The 444 day Iran hostage situation?
The great Mariel boat lift?
14% mortgage rates?
He owes for his education at Annapolis ( failed to repay with 4 years active service?
Calls himself a nuclear theorist ( no such title)
Made Americans to be ashamed of being American?
The list goes on and on but wait for this spin.
ElaborateWe are still Americans and help is on the way. Our nation is suffering from a deadly disease and I believe that a cure is fast approaching.
You may be right but true leaders don't need to be elected. They have the gift of knowing how to get people to follow them. Not sure you keep up on hockey but the goal tender of the NHL Montreal Canadians, Carey Price, make a video directed at our POS prime minister Trudeau saying he wasn't a criminal just because he possessed guns and hunted. This done more for the gun people here in Canada than any elected pro gun person. He is the basic reason that Trudeau's gun grab didn't work and was amended.HE can't do squat unless HE is elected to a position of power.

They were released the day before Ronnie was sworn in because those rag heads knew the shit storm that would happen if they didn't capitulate. The 444 day Iran hostage situation?
If 51% of the country has the mentality of the Hale Bopp people I don't think there is a cure !If you are seeing a cure, please let me in on it??? All i see is the edge of the cliff.
YesYou will never get me to believe something my own eyes , ears and wallet can prove... They are literally part of the 35% of Americans that think everything is great right now... Trust me when I say that's not how I would normally label that 35%
